FAQ about eyelash extensions

If you want to be a professional eyelash stylist, you need to be able to answer questions and objections. Here you will find the most important questions about eyelash extensions.

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

The names "silk", "mink", "flat" indicate only the characteristic features of certain eyelashes. All eyelash extensions are made of artificial material. When skin meets real animal hair, there is a very high chance that an allergic reaction will develop. The practicality of natural materials is significantly lower. The eyelash extensions we sell are micro-polyester filaments identical to human hair. They are very flexible and will not bend or break when worn. It is important that eyelash extensions undergo high quality control in order to provide the best quality eyelash extensions to customers.

HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Eyelash growth is always individual. Most clients wear eyelash extensions between 4 to 6 weeks after they need refilling. The quality of the eyelash extension products and proper care of the eyelashes play a major role in their durability. So does skin type. Women with oily skin tend to have shorter eyelash extensions because the fat dissolves the eyelash glue more quickly.

DO FAKE EYELASHES LOOK ARTIFICIAL?

It all depends on what your customers want. If the customer wants natural eyelashes, no one suspects that they are wrong. With professional materials you achieve amazing volume lashes with a 100% natural look of the lashes.

In some cases, clients want a "drama eyelash look" so others can see how beautiful they are right away. Anything is possible with eyelash extensions.

NO-GO FOR EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Never rub your eyes or apply oil products, creams, or ointments to your eyelids or lashes. Advise customers not to sleep with their face on the pillow.

WHAT TO DO IF EYELASH EXTENSIONS REMAIN ON THE PILLOW?

Don't worry if some extensions fail. It's a normal process and it happens every day. If the eyelashes are very light and short, women do not even notice it. If your client wakes up with a few eyelash extensions left on the pillow, there's no need for them to freak out.

HOW DO I REMOVE EYELASH EXTENSIONS AT HOME?

We do not recommend removing eyelash extensions at home. The client should always come to the studio for removal. The eyelash stylist always takes responsibility for the beauty and health of the eyelashes. When removing eyelash extensions at home, no one can guarantee the safety of natural eyelashes.

If the customer still wants to remove it, the best option for home removal is to use our Remover Brush . It is a solvent for the glue, which must not get into the eyes.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO STICK EYELASH EXTENSIONS TO LENS WEARERS?

The answer is yes. There are no medical contraindications when your client wears lenses. Eye drop moisturizers also do not damage the eyelash glue or the extensions. Many women who wear lenses love a fuller lash line.

CAN EYELASH EXTENSIONS CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS?

Due to individual characteristics and hypersensitivity of the eyes, there is a very small probability. Use high quality eyelash products and always do a patch test before having a new client. Then the risk is reduced to almost zero.

CAN EYELASH EXTENSIONS ALSO BE APPLIED TO THE LOWER EYELASH LINE?

Eyelash extensions can be applied to the upper and lower lashes. If the client has long and thick lower lashes, this can be done.
